Our Story
Established in 2008 at Stockland Shopping Centre, Alkassab Dental Surgery was one of the first full-service family dental clinics in Point Cook. In March 2021, we proudly relocated to a purpose-built facility at MedicFirst Saltwater Coast, continuing our commitment to accessible, high-quality care for the growing community.
Over the years, we’ve built a strong reputation for clinical excellence, honesty, and personalised care — values that remain central to our approach. From children to seniors, we prioritise comfort, communication, and a tailored experience for every patient.
Our principal dentist, Dr Sahar Alkassab, brings over 30 years of experience and is known for her gentle, compassionate nature, especially among families and children. She leads a team of experienced associate dentists with interests spanning orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and wisdom teeth surgery, ensuring comprehensive care under one roof.

How often should I come in for a check-up?
For most patients we recommend a check-up and clean every six months. If you have specific concerns or higher risk factors, we may suggest more frequent visits.
Is teeth whitening safe?
Absolutely. Our professional whitening treatments are carefully formulated and supervised which makes them safer and more effective than over-the-counter products.
Do you see children and nervous patients?
We love treating young patients and have years of experience with anxious adults too. Our priority is always your comfort. We offer happy gas (nitrous oxide) if needed.
How quickly can I get an emergency appointment?
We keep same-day slots available for dental emergencies. Call us first thing in the morning and in most cases we’ll see you that day.
